Calculation of Amplitude
In the table below information about eccentric moment and dynamic weight is given. The dynamic weight of the hammer is the weight which is brought to vibrate when the hammer runs, i.e. the sum of the weight of the movable part of the hammer incl. the weight of the clamp.

These figures can be used for calculating the amplitude for a given pile installation. The amplitude should always be higher than 3 to 4 mm - please refer to the pdf-file in the chapter "General" under "Vibratory Hammers". Please note that for calculation of the amplitude the weight of the pile installed must be added to the dynamic weight.

The amplitude is calculated from the formula:

Amplitude A = 2000 Mecc /mdyn (in mm)

Hydraulic Flow/Pressure and Required Engine Power
In the table below information is given about hydraulic flow, max. hydraulic pressure and hydraulic power. The hydraulic source must be able to give the flow and max. hydraulic pressure and the engine effectively provide the mentioned power. For details, please refer to the second pdf-file in the chapter "General" under "Vibratory Hammers".
