APE vibrators are designed with excentrics and gears in one piece unlike others with excentrics and gears bolted or pinned together. This reduces the maintenance costs. Besides, the APE gears are helical cut. This results in better grip with lower wear and tear.

Patented System for vibration Insulation
The elastomer system that absorbs the vibrations otherwise transferred to the suppressor head (the upper part of the vibratory hammer) is a patented system consisting of two main systems with each their absorbers with different stiffnes. The system with the softest elastomers starts by absorbing the largest amplitudes. Afterwards the stiffer elastomers take over the absorbtion. The result is that the max line pull (the maximum allowable pull in the hammer by extraction af piles) are two to three times as high as other vibratory hammers on the market. Besides, the system reduces the transfer of vibrations to the crane more effectively.
